"Hey," said the Lion "I have 10 cents and I want to trade that for your dollar."
"Why?" said the Little Rabbit "My dollar is worth more than 10 cents"
The clever Lion said "Actually, 10 cents is worth more than a dollar because 10 is greater than one."
"Really?" said the Little Rabbit "Then take the dollar"
"Thank you very much," said the Lion "I enjoyed our little trade."
The little Rabbit headed home with a smile on his face. "Mom," said the Little Rabbit, "I got 10 cents for a dollar. "
The Rabbits mom said "Honey, you were tricked by the Lion because a dollar is worth more than 10 cents."
"Aww," said the little Rabbit, "What do we do mommy?"
"We get revenge," said the Rabbit Mom, "Let's go."
The mother and her child came up with a rather clever plan. They put a dollar on a fishing pole and lured the lion with his greed. The lion followed the line and fell into a mud puddle.
"My beautiful mane," cried the Lion and ran off.
The mother and her baby went off laughing and having a good time on their way home

January reading report-The Dragon book-review
I have read only one book in january and that was The Dragon book edited by Jack Dann and Gardner Dozois with a total of 437 pages total. The book is a collection of famous dragon stories that are all really good. I will do my review on the story called "Are you afflicted with dragons?" in the book. The story is about a hotel owner who has a huge problem. The problem is that the owner has a huge dragon infestation and they have become a problem since they could collapse the roof with all their combined weight and they poop and pee. The dragons even make more babies in the roof which increases the population. If you want to learn more about dragons click the link:) Definition of words potion, a medical or poison beverage and apprentice, someone who works for a set time to learn a trade.
I would-out of respect for the dragons-let them out into the wild and not keep them in the cage and keep them in it. I was amazed how many dragons were in the Smith's hotel. I would LOVE to live in a hotel filled with dragons and call it "Drago Hotel" and my slogan would be"Welcome all dragons, to a place where you can just hang out and relax." I would recommend this book to anyone who likes fantasy stories and dragons in general.

"Dragons need love as much as we do"
The Smith's are the hotel owners and they get into an argument over how to get rid of the dragons. Smith's wife talks about some stranger who can get rid of the dragons. Smith-who is a stubborn man-goes to a store where a clerk talks about this stuff that repels dragons and kills them. I would personally NEVER want to kill any kind of dragon, especially, the babies. When Mr.Smith got home he put a bucket of stuff in a tree. The stuff failed and Smith is very angry and goes back to the store and gets his money back. Mr.Smith goes out to find the stranger who his wife says can get rid of the dragons. He finds him and tells the man about his problem with the dragons. The man and his apprentice agree to help Smith under some conditions. The man says "Whatever I find in the dragon colony I keep such as valuables ect." Smith agrees and the man in his apprentice set out with cages in order to trap the dragons. The man and his apprentice get rid of the dragons by using this dragon they have to attract them and used a potion to get them in the cages. The plan worked and the dragons are soon put in cages and the man even cleans the Smith's hotel of poop and stuff. The problem was that the man had found a ring that belonged to Ms.Smith and he reminded the Smith family that he could keep whatever he found in the roof. The Smith's tell the man if he gives back the ring then they will make him and his apprentice a special dinner. The man and his apprentice has dinner with the Smith family and the man talks about how he got into the dragon capture business when he would take treasure from dragons as a boy. Some time later Mr.Smith sees the apprentice without his master and asks "Where is your master?" the boy replied "That potion my master used on the dragons makes them smarter and so...my master got eaten."

How the Zebra came to be
Once long ago there was a named Steel who was not afraid of anything. He was a very strong person-able to lift two tables with one hand-and already was able to beat over half the men in his village in arm wrestling in his village. His mother's name was Sarah and his father's name was Luke. Steel was raised by his mother since his father went out on a mission one day for the king and never returned. Steel was kind of the outsider since his father could be dead and with dad gone money became a problem and Steel and his mom went poor. Steel one day decided that he was sick of all the problems him and his mom were facing and decided to run away. Steel's best friend Trace found out about his plan to run away.
"So..." said Trace "You truthfully are leaving, aren't you?" "Yes" said Steel "My mom can hardly support herself, much less both of us." "I understand Steel, but, have you thought what will happen to your mom if you leave?" said Trace "She will better support herself with the money she makes on her own." said Steel We walked down the street of our town of Tmur and it was twilight outside. The town was a bustling town full of rich snooty kids and their parents. There were buildings all over the place made of sparkling silver colored bricks and those golden doors with the crystal knobs. The places people like Steel and Trace lived were hardly big enough for two people. The houses were made out of moss covered wood and very fragile doors and the doors were flammable.
The next day Steel went around town in order to find a map of the land so he knew where towns were and stuff. Steel got lucky because there was in merchant in town because of a huge shopping season. The merchant smiled and said "Welcome young man, what are you wanting to buy?". "I would like to know how much that map is good sir" said Steel "That map will be 7,500 loots, young man."What?" said Steel "That is an outrageous amount for a map" "Take it or leave it" snapped the merchant Steel-who was a clever boy said "I heard that lamp you have is a family treasure and a person in the rich part of town who will give one million loots to have it back" "Really?" said the merchant who was shocked "That much for a little lamp" "You better hurry" said Steel "The people who want to buy the lamp are about to leave for a vacation" The merchant was as fast as a cheetah and left in order to sell the lamp. "What an idiot" said Steel as he took the map "I didn't even tell the merchant who it was that was going to buy the lamp."
Steel gathered up all his supply of food and other things and headed for the town gate. Steel remembered that guards are stationed at the gate around the time it starts getting dark. Steel knew he could not fight the guards because if he did he would be swarmed by other guards in seconds. Steel was in luck because a wagon with a huge pile of hay in the back was passing by. "Excellent" said Steel "I will hide in that hay pile to get out of here."
Days and night passed as Steel rode in the wagon unnoticed by the group of people driving the wagon. The wagon stopped at many towns along the way. Steel used his map often in order to find out where the wagon was. One town that the wagon stopped at was Coralpia, home of the mermaids, where Steel had many interesting conversations with them. One conversation was about something called the "ocean" which the mermaids described as the "watery blanket of earth" that allows life to survive. The wagon stopped at Veldana, home of the summoners, who were people that could conjure ancient beasts from out of nowhere. Steel learned the summoned monsters where rumored to live in a place called Tomark. The summoners talked about how, just like humans and everything else, the summon monsters could reproduce and have children. This explained to the summoners how their children could summon much smaller monsters then their adult sizes. One summoner talked about how the summoned beasts could shape shift and have kids with a human. The summoners think this is way some of their kids have strange physical parts not found on humans such as a griffons tail.
The wagon finally arrived in the town of Ruba where Steel decided to live here. The town of Ruba was a beautiful town with all kinds of job classes such as merchants and mages. Steel got a job in mining and he loved the job. The pay was good and everyone was very nice and welcomed him into the mining family.
One day as Steel was working Diana, the goddess of love, came toward Steel with a request. "Could you please help me Steel?" said Diana "My little dragon wants a boyfriend but can't seem to get the one she likes to come out of his lair to meet her." "Of course I will help" said Steel since he owed Diana a favor because it was because of her Steel got a job in mining.
Diana teleported Steel in front of the male dragons lair and said "Good luck Steel" and left him there. Steel entered the dragons lair and he meets the male dragon. "My name is Trage" said the dragon "I know what you want and I will go see the girl Quire if you answer my riddle." "Sounds fair, let me have a shot at it" said Steel "Bring it." "Very Well" said the dragon "I lust, cause wars, hatred, sorrow, courage, will power, what am I?" Steel thought about it for awhile and came up with his answer "The human heart" said Steel. "Correct" said Trage "I will so if Quire and I are...destined for each other."
Several years later Steel was sitting in his house writing a letter telling his mom how he was doing. Steel learned that Tmur had a new King who was so kind to the people there was literally poor people in Tmur, only the middle and rich classes, and Steel's mom and Trace are doing wonderful. Steel also heard that Quire had just became pregnant with her first baby from Trage and they named his Vale. Diana decided to make a skin for a horses made from the exact design on Steel's black and white striped blanket. The horse had babies and they became known as Zebras and they bred and came to be what they are today. Steel lived a long good life and had four very healthy babies off his own from this girl he fell in love with in the mines. Steel died at the age of one-hundred and sixty years old and his long life was a blessing from Diana for doing her the favor and another reward was the creation of the zebra to remind everyone what Steel did for her.
